Tagu Lake (大古湖) is a lake located within the Tagu Glacier Park. Visitors can reach it by taking the park's shuttle bus to the third parking stop.
Tagu Lake was formed by the melting of ancient glaciers, and its color changes with the seasons.
In summer, everything turns green. The lake itself is a vibrant green, surrounded by lush green mountains, with snow-capped peaks in the background and a bright blue sky above. This creates a breathtakingly rich and picturesque view.
One must-do activity at Tagu Lake is taking a photo at the iconic check-in spot on the road, which marks your arrival at the Tagu Glacier.
Around the lake, there is a wooden walkway for visitors to enjoy the natural scenery. If time permits, it is highly recommended to walk around the lake, as the views are stunning all along the way.
