🚊Transportation
🚝High-speed Rail/Train: Take high-speed rail to Hengshanxi Station, then a 15min bus ride to the scenic area; or take a train to Hengshan Station, then a 40min bus ride to the scenic area.
✈Flight: Arrive at Nanyue Airport, then take a 1h taxi ride to Mount Heng Scenic Area.

🎫Tickets
110 RMB/person (same price in peak and off seasons), half price for students, seniors, and children. Sightseeing bus: 45 RMB one way, 78 RMB round trip.

🌄 Two Ways to Ascend the Mountain
▪Sightseeing Bus + Hiking: No cable car at Mount Heng. Take the sightseeing bus halfway up (about 30min), then hike to the summit. The one-way distance from halfway to the summit is about 3.5km (Note: The bus may stop operating if roads are icy due to snow).
▪Hiking: About 13km from the foot to the summit, with an elevation gain of roughly 800m.

❗Tips
▪Essential gear: Ice cleats, hat, and gloves—don’t forget them!
▪Rime isn’t visible every day. Check the weather in advance—rime may form when temperatures are around 5°C with little to no wind.
▪Use restrooms at the visitor center before starting your hike to avoid frozen facilities on the mountain.
▪Do not step on temple thresholds—step over them with a high lift of your leg.
▪During snow season, crowds are heavy. Avoid driving as parking is extremely difficult.
