To Jin Jia Ridge, famous for its chicken radishes, to seek autumn

Jinjia Ancient Town (Zhuhui, Hengyang)
🥕Notes:
1️⃣ Jin Jia Ridge chicken radish is very famous—crisp, tender, spicy, and sweet, with a golden color that is very tempting. It is a well-known local specialty in Hengyang, so when I saw Jinjia Ancient Town on the map, I decided to go check it out.
2️⃣ Take bus route 111 directly to Jin Jia Ridge. After getting off, it feels like a typical somewhat remote town. Walking navigation to "Jinjia Ancient Town," passing by some shops, two or three of which sell Jin Jia Ridge chicken radishes. The destination is the "Stone Archway" of Jinjia Ancient Town. Possibly due to few tourists, some specialty shops near the archway were closed.
3️⃣ Passing through the archway, you can roam freely. The main attraction is a lake with wooden boardwalks, wooden bridges, pavilions, and corridors. Some boardwalk areas have grown a lot of plants, showing that not many people walk here, but today there were still six or seven visitors. The place is small; you can take a stroll and sit in the pavilion on the lake to enjoy a quiet autumn.
4️⃣ There are actually some quite new "sculptures" in the scenic area, such as the Jin Jia Ridge radish sculpture, plants trimmed into shapes of wild geese and other animals. I think some events might be held here during holidays.
5️⃣ One spot surprised me: a row of tall trees with branches full of green leaves and yellow fruits that look a bit like small starfruits. With today's cloudy weather, the autumn atmosphere felt very strong. These trees are probably Koelreuteria or Koelreuteria bipinnata.
6️⃣ The scenic area has restrooms, overall clean, with water; marked on the map, you can navigate directly there.
7️⃣ Locals can come here to stroll when they have time, but for out-of-town tourists with tight schedules, it is not highly recommended.
