There were zero reviews at the time. I always value reviews, but after looking at the photos, website, and price, I decided to stay here!

About 30 minutes from Hida Takayama, we arrived at the inn 📍Sumiya Rakusui-tei

There was a little bit of snow. It's a wonderful location deep in the mountains surrounded by trees and a stream flowing all around!

The inn is fully equipped with underfloor heating, a dining room with a hearth, and a playful kitchen where you can sit and cook.
From the Japanese-style living room with a fireplace, you can enjoy the large windows and the green scenery. There are four terraces with different concepts, such as the babbling terrace and the star-gazing terrace 🍁🌿
The bedroom also has a large window that gives it a sense of openness, and the semi-open-air bath is also unique and interesting.
This is an inn where you can enjoy the illuminated trees outside, the sounds of the stream, and nature while warming yourself up by the fireplace with a glass of wine or coffee. It looks like you can enjoy playing in the river in the summer, so it's one of the inns I'd like to go to again.
