Banana Crocodile Garden in Izu: A Highly Satisfying Experience

📍Atagawa Banana Crocodile Garden
Address: 1253-10 Naramoto, Higashiizu Town, Kamo District, Shizuoka Prefecture, 413-0302

Admission: 2,000 yen for adults

Located further beyond the Cactus Park, this facility is a rare crocodile-focused zoo in Japan. At the same time, it also serves as a botanical garden, where you can immerse yourself in cacao plants, tropical fruits, and exotic flora you've likely never seen before.

The arcade of large banana leaves feels like wandering into a jungle, making it a fun experience 🍌. The animals aren't limited to crocodiles; there are also red pandas, manatees, and surprisingly diverse wildlife to discover.

The garden is divided into three areas, with free shuttle buses running between them.

The "Banio Daifuku" was adorable and my personal favorite❣️
