It is said that the atomic bomb exploded 580 meters east of the Atomic Bomb Dome. It was originally opened as the Hiroshima Prefectural Products Exhibition Hall to display various products from Hiroshima Prefecture, and was called the "Hiroshima Prefectural Industrial Promotion Hall" from wartime until the time of the atomic bomb. Currently, the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum is adjacent, where you can see the situation at that time.
