Hiroshima: A Profound Journey of Peace

Two World Heritage sites I visited in Hiroshima.
One is the Atomic Bomb Dome.
Its quiet appearance has a weight that is hard to put into words, and it is a place where you can feel the importance of peace.
The adjacent Peace Memorial Museum is also a spot that you should definitely stop by. I stayed an hour longer than planned, with tears running down my cheeks.
The other is Itsukushima Shrine, famous for its large vermilion torii gate floating in the sea.
The scenery, which changes with the tides, is truly fantastic, and it was a time enveloped in a sacred atmosphere.
I visited in the evening, so I couldn't eat the fried momiji manju, so I had to get revenge at Hiroshima Station the next day lol
