[Guandu Bridge | Tamsui Scenery Under the Red Steel Dragon]

Every time I pass by the Guandu Bridge, its vibrant red arched steel frame captivates my eyes. Spanning the Tamsui River, it connects Taipei City's Beitou District with New Taipei City's Bali District. It's not only a major transportation link but also one of the most iconic landmarks at the Tamsui River estuary. As the sun sets, the bridge is bathed in a golden red, and the shimmering waters beneath it resemble a shimmering dragon resting peacefully on the river.

During the day, the Guandu Bridge is a majestic sight. Cycling along the bike path alongside the bridge, feeling the gentle breeze from the river, you can experience the fusion of city and nature. At night, the bridge lights illuminate, their reflections on the water's surface create a favorite scene for photographers.

Standing near the Guandu Temple or overlooking the left bank of Bali, you can clearly appreciate the bridge's graceful curve. During holidays, many families and couples gather here to watch the sunset, stroll, and take photos, quietly observing the orange glow of the sky and the shadow of the bridge interweave into the most romantic scene.

The Guandu Bridge is more than just a transportation facility; it's like a painting that changes color over time. From the morning mist, the afternoon blue sky, to the evening hues, each moment presents a different charm, a part of the lives and memories of many.
