Nanjing, the Zhongshan Mountain National Park is a beautiful national park

If you want to do walking, exercising, hiking or mountain running this is the place to do, the Purple Mountain.
The forest in the Zhongshan Mountain National Park is a subtropical forest. I loved it.
There are a lot of steps going up, but there are trails too. Whatever you prefer.
One important thing to mention, there isn't free drinking water in the national park so you should bring plenty of water with you or you can buy it on the way up or at the top.
There is temple complex too but unfortunately I arrived too late to see it.
As you can see on the photo you should be careful on the trails.
