The moment I set foot in Hiroshima, I felt the city's unique atmosphere. Walking through the Peace Memorial Park, I was simultaneously touched by the scars of the past and the tranquility of the present, which brought a sense of solemnity to my heart. Gazing at the Atomic Bomb Dome, I felt the weight of history, yet I was moved by the resilience of the people who rose again.
As I strolled through the streets, I was warmly welcomed by small cafes and shops. It felt as though I was blending into the daily lives of the locals, not as a traveler but as someone living there. Especially, the sunset I encountered at the corner of an alley felt like the city's gentle whisper of comfort.
In the evening, the view of the sea from Miyajima was breathtaking. The torii gate reflected in the sea under the crimson sky created a magical moment that made me forget the fatigue of travel.
Hiroshima is not just a travel destination; it is a city that warms the heart. The day I spent here will remain a quiet resonance within me for a long time.
