Ho Chi Minh City's Central Book Street – A Book Lover's Paradise

One of our favorite places to visit in Ho Chi Minh City is Nguyen Van Binh Book Street, located in the heart of District 1, near Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. It's a quick walk away. The highlight of this place is the collection of bookstores from all over Vietnam lined up on both sides of the street. It's decorated in a cute style. There are both modern shops and old-fashioned shops, as well as corners selling handmade goods, souvenirs, and cute postcards to buy and take home.

What we really like is the shady atmosphere, full of big trees. In the middle of the street, there are seats to relax. Many people come to read books, chat, or just sip coffee and take pictures. It's fun. There are small cafes here. Some shops have tables to sit and read books inside. It's a peaceful but lively vibe. It's suitable for people who come alone or come to walk with friends.

Another impressive point is that this street doesn't only have Vietnamese books. There are also English books and children's books. If you're a reader or want to buy valuable souvenirs, I recommend it. If you're not a reader, you can still come and take pictures because every corner is very cute. Plus, there are festival-themed decorations all year round.

📍 For those who want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city and find a quiet place to relax, this is one of the places you shouldn't miss!
