Notre Dame Catherdal of Saigon

Notre Dame Cathedral of Saigon is one of the top tourist spots in Ho Chi Minh City. Built between 1863 to 1880 by French engineer Jules Bourard, this French guy had high trust in French products because most of the construction materials were imported from France, including bricks and stones. The architect initially named it the Church of Saigon.

The impression of this church is a mix of church design between Roman and Gothic styles. The locals know this church for having the biggest pair of bells in Vietnam.

Located in the central city of Ho Chi Minh, this church is not just for worshippers but also for the tourist to admire its beauty, as I do. Notre Dame Cathedral can host around 1,200 people; therefore, its the largest church in Ho Chi Minh.
