Sanfong Temple is a famous Taoist temple with a large number of believers. It is also a place for tourists to take beautiful lantern photos.

Opening and closing hours: Open 05:00 - 22:00

How to get there: From Kaohsiung Station, you can take bus lines 88, 205, 248 or take the local train. You have to walk a bit.

Recommendations for visiting the place:

- It is recommended to go in the evening until sunset because the temple will turn on the lanterns as shown in the picture.
- The photo spot can be taken from above. You can take photos from both sides, which have similar views. If you have a tripod, the photos will be very beautiful.
- The time the temple turns on the lights varies depending on the season. When we went, the temple turned on the lights at 18:40, which was when the sun was almost setting.
- If you arrive early, you can reserve a spot or pray first.
- Since it is a sacred place, it is not recommended to sit and take photos on the balcony. The balcony is quite slippery. It may cause danger.
