If you’re rolling through Hohhot, do NOT sleep on the Hohhot Aquarium—seriously, this spot is an absolute must-see! I snagged my ticket super easily on trip.com and scored a sweet deal (hello, savings 👀).

Walking in, I was met with jaw-dropping underwater views—think glowing jellyfish, exotic fish, and all kinds of close-ups of underwater creatures that are totally Insta-worthy. Each exhibit had amazing vibes, and it’s impossible not to get lost in the dreamy, colorful world inside.

Best part? The Hohhot Aquarium is easy to get to: you’ll find it at 内蒙古自治区呼和浩特市新城区海东慢城商业负一层101号. Just make sure to plan your visit between 09:30-17:30 (admission ends at 17:00), since they’re closed for a couple days at the end of January!
