Hoi An Ancient Town: A Journey Through Time

Just returned from Hoi An Ancient Town, and my heart is still captivated by its enchanting nightscape.

The journey from Da Nang to Hoi An takes about 40 minutes by car, with a taxi fare of approximately HKD$25 per person. Although the distance isn't great, stepping into this historic town feels like traveling back in time.

As night falls, the bustling atmosphere is brought to life by the crowds. The colorful lanterns scattered throughout the town emit a soft glow after dusk, illuminating the entire ancient town. Walking through the alleys, you can see people leisurely strolling, enjoying the charming blend of ancient and modern vibes.

Hoi An boasts numerous attractions, including the famous Japanese Bridge, as well as many historic houses, temples, and museums. Immersed in such an environment, one can truly feel the rich history and culture of Vietnam.

Another highlight worth mentioning is the recommendation from a local driver. He told me that the massage parlors in Hoi An are of higher quality and more affordable than those in Da Nang. Although I couldn't experience it myself due to my itinerary, it seems like a worthwhile experience.

Overall, Hoi An Ancient Town is undoubtedly a destination worth visiting. The enchanting nightscape, convenient transportation, lively crowds, and rich history and culture make it a place I long to return to. As a young backpacker, I highly recommend everyone to explore this beautiful ancient town in Vietnam.
