A day to feel the true charm of Southeast Asia – Hoi An one-day trip review

#Southeast Asia Travel
It was the most memorable day among my Southeast Asia trips.

Hoi An, Vietnam. It was a trip where I just walked, saw, and rested without a busy schedule.

As soon as I entered Hoi An Old Town early in the morning, the yellow walls, colorful lanterns, and flowers blooming in every alley caught my eye. I loved the moments of walking slowly, taking pictures, and looking at old houses without being rushed by time.

I took a local banh mi and sat at a cafe, drinking Vietnamese iced coffee, and rested. In the afternoon, I rode a wooden boat on the Thu Bon River and enjoyed the scenery flowing quietly and leisurely. The sound of the water, the birds, and the gentle breeze felt like it was cleansing my heart.

At sunset, I moved to Anbang Beach. It was a perfect day with a can of beer while looking at the sea under the red sky and the sea breeze. In the evening, I had seafood fried rice at a local restaurant, and on the way back, I stopped by the night market and bought a small lantern as a souvenir.

Hoi An is not big, but the leisure and emotion contained in it are really deep.
The true charm of Southeast Asia is felt more strongly in such quiet cities.
If you want a trip that makes your mind feel comfortable rather than a noisy trip, definitely go there once.
