Hokkaido travel itinerary and tips

Day 1: Arrive Sapporo. Take the local subway to Miyanosawa station and walk around 7 minutes to Shiroi Koibito Park. Stay in Sapporo for 1 night.
Day 2: Take the Furano Lavender Express train to Furano (only operate in summer). Take the Norokko-go train (also only in summer) to Lavender Farm station. Walk to Farm Tomita. Visit the surrounding farms and attractions around Furano area. Stay in Asahikawa.
Day 3: Take bus to Asahiyama zoo. Take train back to Sapporo in the evening.
Day 4: Take bus to Jozankei onsen area and explore. Or take train/bus to Lake Toya (day trip/stay 1 night)
Day 5: Last minute shopping around Sapporo

[Must-Visit Attractions]
1. Shiroi Koibito Park (Sapporo) - Chocolate Factory theme park by Ishiya. Lots of photo-taking spots and exclusive merchandise for purchase
2. Farm Tomita (Nakafurano) - flower field (big lavender 🪻fields). Lots of lavender products for sale
3. Lake Toya - beautiful lake with daily fireworks from May to October.

2. Ramen
3. Hokkaido Crab and seafood

[Accommodation ]
Recommended Area for Accommodation
There are lots of hotels 🏨 near Sapporo station. Another area to consider is near Odori Park.

[Tips]
- Do your research before travel 🧳. Sapporo is well-connected by public transport but outside of Sapporo, some parts of Hokkaido are not easily accessed by public transport. Check the timing of the bus/train and follow.
