Hokkaido 3D2N - Lavender, Lavender, and Flower

Looking for a perfect summer escape in Japan, where you can beat the heat and take endless photos in gorgeous lavender fields? Welcome to Hokkaido! ❤️

We traveled from Tokyo, taking shinkansen (thanks to our JR Pass) from Tokyo Station to Hakodate, and then onward to Sapporo. If you're short on time, you might want to consider flying directly into Chitose Airport.

The moment we arrived in Hokkaido, we felt an immediate sense of comfort. In the summer, Sapporo's temperature was a pleasant 22-23°C, making it the perfect retreat from the heat.

🗓️Itinerary Scheduling

Since we only had a few days in Hokkaido, here’s our itinerary:

Day 1:
Travel to Sapporo via train. Relax and explore the city at a leisurely pace.

Day 2:
Spend the day in Furano, where the endless lavender fields will leave you in awe. Visit the famous Furano Lavender Field and the vibrant Shikisai no Oka, known for its beautiful flower gardens. You’ll want your camera ready for this one!

Day 3:
Start the day with a visit to the Asahi Beer Museum and then indulge your sweet tooth at Shiroi Koibito Park. Afterward, take a trip to the charming coastal town of Otaru before heading back to Tokyo.
