AWOL's work, from his African black cultural history, migrated to the Americas and other countries, such as human cultural history, like Egypt in the story of how different cultures merged and separated, and freedom of migration, bringing culture and life with him, as his own black history, he currently lives in Los Angeles. Alexie Glass-Kantor, curator of Art Gathering Space at Art Basel Hong Kong;
Gravity creator Awol Erizku said the ten-meter-high sculpture Gravity, based on King Tutankhamun, is known as a symbol of omniscience and wisdom, and its influence has been unquestionable since ancient times. The playful works explore the ideas of eternity and existence through ancient people and things, blowing the space inside a tunnel but putting down his own treasured books, music, movie CDs, incense, etc., which will deeply attract visitors to stop and take a closer look.
It is also a great art installation for taking pictures from any angle📸📸📸
