Victorian splendor - Hotel Alexandra

The Alexandra Hotel, which will officially open in 2022, is located at Fortress Hill Station on Hong Kong Island. Passengers can use the pedestrian bridge to walk directly to the hotel in 5 minutes. The overall transportation is convenient and the nearby living facilities are also good. The style of Hotel Alexandra is very strong. The lobby and public spaces are extremely magnificent. The gorgeous palace-like style is very distinctive and worth seeing!

The interior of the hotel lobby contrasts with the futuristic exterior, presenting a magnificent and extravagant European court style, with crystal chandeliers, exquisitely carved ceilings, Victorian marble tiles, and a large number of gold, black and red embellishments creating an extremely gorgeous and luxurious atmosphere.

The hotel has a total of 840 rooms and 6 room types, named after playing cards, including 4 types of guest rooms: Spades, Diamonds, Clubs, Hearts, and 2 types of suites: King & Queen. This time we stayed in the Club Double Room.

I originally thought that the hotel rooms were also in a gorgeous European style, but I didn't expect to see a completely different atmosphere after opening the door, a simple, comfortable and homely minimalist feel.

As for leisure facilities, the hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, which allows you to enjoy a bit of a holiday atmosphere in the city. Unfortunately, it was closed during our winter visit. The hotel also has a gym and ample rest space. Travelers can definitely relax here.

Hotel Alexandra is a very distinctive hotel overall. The building's exterior and lobby interior are particularly impressive, while the guest rooms are relatively standard but still comfortable. It is close to the subway station, so it is very convenient to take the subway or tram. It is also not far from Causeway Bay, so travelers can go directly to many shopping hotspots and attractions.
