📍Hotel Alexandra|Reflecting the splendor of the Victorian era|📷A good choice for checking in and taking photos

The Alexandra Hotel, also known as the "Chengge Hotel", opened in September 2021. The hotel's design is based on the theme of integrating modern style with the timeless European classics of the Victorian era. The interior is full of super gorgeous decorations, creating a magnificent palace style. It is a choice for many people to take photos and check in. It was hard to get a room as soon as it opened; however, the food reviews were mediocre. Because it was so lively when it just opened, I didn't have the urge to experience it immediately!

Room reservations are not so tight this year, so it’s time to experience the splendor of the Victorian era!

The hotel lobby is dominated by red and black, with multiple crystal chandeliers, marble floors/walls, mirrored walls, gold foil-paved carved doors, wall lamps and many glittering golden decorations. It is exquisite and magnificent, as if you have been to some European palace!

At 15:00, I arrived at the hotel lobby to check in. Although the room reservation situation was not that tight, there were still quite a lot of people waiting to check in. It might also be because it was the weekend, so it took me about 45 minutes to complete the check-in procedures!

The main photo-taking locations of Hotel Alexandra are the hotel lobby, Foyer Hotel lobby and Alexandra Restaurant (Café A). It is recommended to come here to take photos at night because more people come for meals/banquets/weddings during the day, and only the guests can enjoy the beautiful scenery at night!

The rooms of Hotel Alexandra are divided into the East and West Wings. The guest rooms are classified by diamonds, clubs, hearts, and sunflower fans, and the suites are classified by the cards "Queen" and "King". This time we chose a guest room and stayed in the Plum Blossom King Room (city view) on the 11th floor of the West Wing!

We stayed in the Plum Blossom King Room (city view), which was simpler and more modern than the hotel lobby room!

A photo of the Natural History Museum in London hangs on the wall near the bed, and the bedside lamp is also decorated with some ethnic patterns similar to those seen in archaeological excavations, combining a modern style with a touch of classical history!

The room design makes good use of space. In addition to making full use of the windowsill to place the sofa, the TV is wall-mounted, and the cabinets for electric kettles, cups, water and instant drinks are built-in. There is a wardrobe, full-length mirror, safe and mini refrigerator at the door!

The restroom is near the door and has a shower room, simple and clean!

The view from the window sill is the parking lot inside the hotel, you can also see the swimming pool, and you can also see a small sea view in the distance!

In addition, Alexandra Restaurant is also a great place to check in. It is where the hotel provides buffet breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea. The design is based on the style of a European castle garden. The decoration uses pastoral green and gold as a backdrop. The atmosphere is softer, but it still feels noble and gorgeous!
