
Taiwu Ski Town (Taiwu Ski and Mountain Resort) is located in Chongli District, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. It has the highest peak in Chongli County, Yushiliang (2,160 meters above sea level). The mountain has a vertical drop of up to 510 meters and snow accumulation lasts for up to 150 days. It is located between 40 and 50 degrees north latitude, the same as the world-famous Rocky Mountains and the Alps, and is a world-recognized "mountain resort" golden zone.
Due to the successful hosting of the Winter Olympics, it became famous overnight. As the reputation of the Grassland Sky Road spread far and wide, almost everyone knew about it. It is only 220 kilometers away from Beijing and is within the golden vacation distance of 2 hours from the capital.
Located in the temperate sub-arid zone of the East Asian continental monsoon climate, it has a cool summer and a snowy world in winter, making it suitable for travel all year round.

Thaiwoo Ski Town is part of Zhangjiakou’s winter sports development for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. It is a modern ski resort town that emphasizes international-standard facilities, winter sports tourism, and eco-friendly mountain development.
Located in Chongli District, Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province. Visitors can reach Thaiwoo by taxi, private car, or shuttle buses from Zhangjiakou city. High-speed trains from Beijing to Zhangjiakou make it convenient, followed by local transfers to the resort.
Open daily during the winter season, generally from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Best time to visit is December to March when snow conditions are optimal.
Ski pass prices vary by day and slope difficulty. Tickets can be purchased online through the resort’s official website or travel platforms, and at ticket counters on-site.
