The Peak, The Best View Of Hong Kong 🌃

Without a doubt the best and most authentic way to see Hong Kong in all it’s glory is by riding the peak tram to the top and expriencing the rooftop viewing platform.
A short walk from Admiralty station is the base station where you can buy tickets or scan pre paid QR codes, look out for sign posts along the way as it can be quite a confusing walk!
Then board the tram and try and get a seat on the right hand side as that is the side you will see Hong Kong as you go up, even when we went on a very cloudy and misty day the view on the ascent was stunning.

The tram also has a glass roof so you can take in the city as you sail though the super tall buildings, there are request stops along the way so the tram will stop for a few minutes at each one which is a great time for photos.

If you buy the all in one package you get a return trip on the tram and access to the viewing platform on the roof, I would definitely advise this as it’s the optimal place for photos of the entire harbour.

There are also coffee shops, restaurants and a few shops in the mall at the peak if you want to take a break before heading back down.

I would advise heading up as early as possible to avoid the crowds, at times it can be very hard to see anything when it is full!
