🇭🇰 Hiking @ Mount High West

Mount High West in Hong Kong Island is one of the most rewarding hikes I've ever been on. The hiking trail to the peak of Mount High West is situated along the Harlech Road and Lugard Road Circular Walk, The Peak. I started the circular trail from Harlech Road which was nearer to the entrance of High West. From there it was a quick 30-minute ascent to the summit of Mount High West which is approximately 494 meters above sea level. The 650-m ascent involves steep steps but offers rewarding views along the way. The weather was gloomy on the day of my visit but I was blessed as the sun made a brief appearance when I was at the viewing point on the summit. The views of Hong Kong Island, Victoria Harbour, Kowloon and the outlying islands were spectacular!
