High-Quality and Affordable Korean BBQ Special Menu in Causeway Bay

With Lunar New Year approaching, it's time to treat yourself to a good meal. I visited this Korean BBQ restaurant in Causeway Bay with friends to enjoy some premium beef. The restaurant offers a Special Menu ($1588) that includes a variety of meats and seafood such as Wagyu beef platter, beef tongue, pork belly, deboned chicken wings, fruit soy sauce chicken thighs, and eel. Additionally, there are pancakes, stone pot rice, and fried chicken, making it a super rich meal. Of course, a Korean restaurant wouldn't be complete without kimchi, and they offer a variety of spicy and non-spicy options as appetizers.

Wagyu Beef Platter
The platter includes two types of sukiyaki Wagyu beef: Wagyu sirloin and Wagyu tri-tip. The marbling on the meat is beautiful and evenly distributed. The staff lightly grills both sides, and it's ready to eat. The sirloin is extremely tender with fragrant marbling, while the tri-tip, a rare cut, is tender yet firm with a rich beef flavor. Dipping it in sukiyaki egg sauce makes it incredibly satisfying.

Eel
The eel is a generous portion, and the staff carefully grills it for us. The edges are slightly crispy, and the eel meat is tender, bouncy, and sweet without any fishy taste.

The other grilled meats are also of good quality. The beef tongue is crisp, the pork belly is well-marinated, and the deboned chicken wings are very convenient to eat. The fruit soy sauce chicken thighs are tender and smooth.

Half-Half Fried Chicken
The fried chicken comes in two flavors: original and sweet and spicy sauce. The exterior is crispy, and the meat inside is tender and juicy. Personally, I prefer the sweet and spicy sauce flavor, which is sweet with a hint of spice and very appetizing.

Seafood Pancake
The pancake is of moderate thickness, not too thin or too thick, and contains seafood such as squid and shrimp.

Traditional Stone Pot Rice
The set also includes stone pot rice. If you can't handle spicy food, you can ask the staff to add less spicy sauce. The rice comes with many ingredients, and the crispy rice at the bottom is very fragrant and crunchy.
