Hong Kong is a popular travel destination for Koreans because it is enjoyable even with a short flight time and a short schedule.
It is a great place to travel because everything from delicious food to shopping and night views are harmoniously combined.

I recommend dividing Hong Kong into Kowloon Peninsula, Hong Kong Island, and Lantau Island and planning your travel itinerary.
Hong Kong has well-developed public transportation such as trams, subways, and buses, making it convenient to get around.

1️⃣Tsim Sha Tsui & Avenue of Stars

It is one of the largest commercial districts in Hong Kong.
You can see everything from the Clock Tower to Avenue of Stars and the luxury shopping mall K11 Museum.
When visiting Tsim Sha Tsui, the Symphony of the Night is a must.
Symphony of the Night is a light show using LEDs on skyscrapers near Hong Kong Island Harbor, and is registered in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's largest light and sound performance.

You can see plaques with handprints and autographs of famous stars on Avenue of Stars.
It is fun to find plaques of your favorite stars.

2️⃣Soho Mural Street

You can see pretty murals here and there in Soho Mural Street

The most famous of them is the Deng Lau mural

The Deng Lau mural is said to be a mural inspired by the demolished old residential area of Kowloon Walled City

There are a lot of people taking pictures in the afternoon, so I recommend going in the morning or evening to take pictures

3️⃣Mid-level Escalator

The Mid-level Escalator, the longest escalator in the world, is about 800m long

and is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as an escalator that takes 20-30 minutes to reach the top

It became popular with tourists after appearing in the movie “Chungking Express”

There are some popular egg tart shops nearby, so stop by together

4️⃣Yik Cheong Building

It is famous as the filming location for Transformers 4

Yik Cheong Building is a narrow Hong Kong apartment in the shape of the letter ㄷ

It is a bit far from the main tourist attractions in Hong Kong, but it is a good place for those who like taking pictures. I recommend it

5️⃣Choi Hong Apartment

Choi Hong Apartment means rainbow in Cantonese

The apartments are colorful and the pictures are pretty, so it is one of the places that many tourists visit as a photo spot
It is an old apartment that was demolished in 1962, but it is scheduled for redevelopment in 2026, so be sure to visit before it is demolished
