A day trip to the secret area of Sai Kung - Yim Tin Tsai

You may be a little unfamiliar with the name Salt Marsh
Because it is not a popular attraction
The most famous one is probably the salt fields 🧂

Salt Marsh has a history of more than 300 years. It was famous for its salt production in the past
Today I will share with you what is special about this place 💪🏻
The Salt Marsh Club will hold a guided tour during the holidays (picture 1). They will take us to visit the salt field while introducing the local history, salt-making methods, etc. We learned a lot!

Then there will be some places worth taking pictures (photographs) on the island
For example, the Jade Belt Bridge (picture 2), St. Joseph’s Chapel (picture 3), and the Twin Pavilions
The place caters to history, culture and art
It's really worth a visit!

🛥There is a street ferry to Salt Marsh next to Hong Kee Seafood Restaurant in Sai Kung Pier. The journey takes about 15 minutes (closed every Monday)
💲Round trip ferry ticket $70 (free visit to the sun salt field, cultural relics exhibition hall and attached map of the island)
‼ ️ Sun Salt Field will only hold tours every Saturday and Sunday 11:30 and 14:30, no need to make a reservation / registration, enough time to go directly to the salt field collection is ok ~
