The Tian Tan Buddha is a statue of Sakyamuni Buddha located in Ngong Ping, Lantau Island, Hong Kong, 520 meters above sea level. It is the tallest outdoor bronze Buddha statue in the world and one of the famous attractions in Hong Kong.
During holidays, many people from different countries come to see the majestic and magnificent Buddha.
It is not easy to reach the foot of the Buddha. You must first complete 268 steps, which takes 10-15 minutes. The more you go, the more stunning it is.
🚡Take the Ngong Ping 360 cable car and enjoy the magnificent view of Lantau Island and the take-off and landing of planes at the airport during the 25-minute ride. If you are not afraid of heights, you can also choose the fully transparent glass crystal cable car, which is relatively expensive, but perfectly combines excitement and appreciation of natural beauty. (Although I really want to try the crystal cable car, unfortunately I am the one who doesn't have the courage 😅.)
🚡The 360 cable car can take you directly to Ngong Ping Village, where there are many special souvenirs. In addition, there are many different delicacies, and even a vegetarian restaurant at the Po Lin Monastery.
When you have distracting thoughts and want to be free from all distractions, you will want to go to the Tiantan Buddha to worship and seek peace of mind. It is one of the must-do things every year to go to the Tiantan Buddha for a spiritual journey.
