Wong Tai Sin Temple is literally the blogger's comfort zone hahaha. Although it was drizzling that day, I had so much fun taking photos, it was awesome❤️ The architectural tone features very bright and gorgeous colors, leaning towards a mix of Song and Qing styles. However, basically every side hall is blocked off and not open for worship inside, so you can't see the statues. That's pretty strict, seems like they are really afraid of excited devotees throwing money (X).
Also, everything else is covered and requires payment to unlock XD Overall, it's moderately large with a delicate layout, so you can walk around a bit more💪 But I think the quality of the devotees here is really not great (shrugs). I was taking photos nearby, not standing in the center, and then a devotee holding incense directly faced me and said, "Move aside." I was so annoyed I laughed out loud www💢 People like you still expect blessings from the gods? If the gods really answered you, then the gods in this world would be really, really untrustworthy.
One thing to note is that when you exit the MTR, there will be people selling incense. You don't have to buy it beforehand because Wong Tai Sin Temple has it. Don't be shy, firmly refuse them❗️
