
The Yudiaowan Natural Scenic Area is located in Shifosi Town , about 8 kilometers northwest of Zhenping County, Henan Province. It has been famous for its jade carving and silk pressing since ancient times. It is the birthplace of Nanyang jade carving and the only jade carving town in Henan.
The Longxiang and Rainbow Bridges, which integrate sightseeing, shopping, and flood prevention, and the European-style jade carving and commercial buildings create a panoramic view of Jade Carving Bay. Along the banks of the Zhao River, lush green pristine forests create a beautiful environment. The rippling waters of the artificial lake reflect the European-style jade carving and commercial buildings. The arched bridge hangs like a rainbow across the horizon, and the dazzling array of jewelry and jade creates a sense of being immersed in a sea of jade.
The market offers a wide variety of tourist handicrafts, including rare stones, antiques, calligraphy and paintings, porcelain, bone carvings, horn carvings, and copper products. The Yudiaowan Tourism Community Shopping Market now houses over 400 jade carving and jewelry processing companies and 1,200 stalls , including over 60 high-end boutiques .
The China Nanyang Jade Carving Festival is held here from late April to early May every year.
