If you want to enjoy a variety of dishes all at once, including sashimi, toro sushi, foie gras, steamed oysters, and even Japanese Häagen-Dazs ice cream, then the restaurant "Daieiki Japanese Cuisine" in Mong Kok is the place for you! 🤩 No wonder it's always fully booked.
Here, you can choose from a wide selection of sashimi. The thick-cut salmon is rich and flavorful, the swordfish belly is sweet, the sweet shrimp is fresh, and the ark shell is delightfully crunchy. 👍
They also offer a variety of sushi, and I especially love the toro sushi 🍣 with its explosive fatty aroma. I ordered it multiple times without hesitation! 💪
🫐 Blueberry red wine foie gras + teppanyaki foie gras 🪿—a cold and hot dual experience! The cold foie gras is as smooth as mousse, while the teppanyaki foie gras is crispy on the outside and melts on the inside. 😋 It's sinfully delicious!
🌶️ Sichuan-style steamed jumbo oysters 🦪 are thick and juicy with a flavorful kick, while the salted grilled beef tongue is tender and soft 👅 with a rich salty aroma.
The steamed scallops with garlic and vermicelli 🧄 are incredibly fresh, and the vermicelli absorbs all the garlic and scallop flavors—absolutely amazing! 🥰 The Saikyo-style grilled halibut 🐟 has crispy fish skin and tender meat, complemented by the salty-sweet miso flavor. 🤤 It's truly delicious.
Other highlights among the cooked dishes include honey mustard shrimp balls 🍤, cheese golden sauce grilled prawns 🦐, fried chicken cartilage bites, and sesame chicken wings 🍗—a super rich selection!
The self-service area 💪 offers plenty of options, and the Chinese dim sum 🧆 is particularly impressive. I especially love their 🤩 siu mai, which are large, juicy, and bursting with meaty flavor. 👍
The dessert counter 😋 is packed with treats like cakes 🍰, cream puffs, and puddings 🍮. Be sure to save some room for dessert! 😆
The fridge even has 🇯🇵 Japanese Häagen-Dazs ice cream, which is a delightful surprise. 😍 Eating a few scoops easily makes the buffet worth it.
