After work, my colleague and I went for BBQ. Since my colleague wanted high-quality food, we came to Ginza Enzo at D2 Place. We saw a special floral platter ($998) that included a Wagyu platter, seafood, pork, and chicken, which was very appealing. The platter itself can be shared by 3-4 people, but the two of us felt it was just right without ordering anything else. The platter also comes with a salad for each person to help cleanse the palate.
Wagyu six-piece platter
First, let's talk about the Wagyu platter, which has six different cuts of Wagyu. Each cut has different marbling distribution, texture, and flavor. Overall, it is very high quality with tender meat. The chuck flap and ribeye have a balanced ratio of fat to meat, while the upper sirloin and kame no ko cuts have a higher fat ratio and a richer meat flavor. The sasami and underwing cuts have more marbling, making them more tender and flavorful.
Yume no Daichi pork three flavors
There are also three types of Hokkaido Yume no Daichi pork, including pork neck, pork loin, and pork ribs. The pork is very tender and not dry at all.
Japanese chicken three flavors
For chicken, there is chicken breast, chicken thigh, and the less common chewy chicken neck meat.
Seafood three flavors
Besides meat, there are also three kinds of seafood. The large prawns are firm and bouncy, the scallops are juicy and sweet, and there is a whole squid tube, making it very rich and diverse.
