Previously saw seafood porridge hotpot which was quite unique. This time, I tried this seafood steam pot restaurant. The reason for choosing it is that Kowloon City has many delicious foods and convenient transportation. As soon as we sat down, the waitress warmly welcomed us and introduced different set meals. The set meal prices range from the cheapest at $369 per person to over $1000. We chose a two-person set meal calculated per person at $500 each, with 18 varieties. You can enjoy famous seafood from around the world, as well as pork and beef. Most importantly, it states that the seafood is freshly air-flown to Hong Kong daily, and every piece of seafood has roe 🤯. They are currently offering a 50% discount, quite a good deal ✨.
The best is the steamed Australian young lobster. The lobster is very fresh, opened on the spot, tender, and sweet 🔥. There are also large scallops with homemade crab roe sauce 👍🏻. This is also very fresh and delicious. There is also the rare steamed eel. The eel comes from Busan, South Korea, and is wild-caught. The meat is smooth and tender with a unique texture 🫨.
Every seafood item is very fresh, opened and eaten immediately 🤯. The waitress steams the seafood for just the right amount of time. The seafood is not over-steamed, and the texture is quite good. Steaming is the best way to enjoy the original flavor 🤤 without adding any seasoning. At the end, there is seafood porridge to eat. Previously, the seafood juice from the lobster would drip into the porridge. Before eating the porridge, the waitress adds a lot of green onions and preserved vegetables.
Also, the waitress gave us freshly fried fish skin and coconut stewed bird’s nest. Both were very delicious 😋.
