Dragon Boat Festival Check-in at Club Autus!

Using DragonPass at Club Autus for the first time was such a pleasant surprise! I woke up an hour early for my morning flight during the Dragon Boat Festival just to experience this "hidden gem of the airport." The location is super easy to find—right next to the boarding gates for Hong Kong Airlines, HK Express, and Greater Bay Airlines. If you're flying with these airlines, this lounge feels like your "exclusive VIP area"!

The hot food section kicked off a breakfast feast: the sticky rice chicken was wrapped in fragrant lotus leaves, with salted egg and chicken filling that was super hearty; the stir-fried rice noodles were moist and flavorful, perfectly paired with braised dishes like bean curd, carrots, and mushrooms. However, the bacon was a bit salty, and the hash browns were just average—I'd recommend heading straight for the Chinese dishes! The drinks section offered apple/orange juice and small bottled water, and I even spotted a gentleman mixing whiskey nearby—turns out there's a hidden bar for alcoholic beverages!

What impressed me the most was the spaciousness of the lounge. In the morning, it was so quiet that I could easily grab a window seat! The charging ports were incredibly comprehensive (USB, Type-C, and UK standard plugs all available). When I forgot my pen while writing my Flight Log, the receptionist immediately handed me a marker—such excellent service deserves praise! Next time I fly with Hong Kong Airlines, I’ll definitely come back for an evening flight to see if they serve hearty Hong Kong-style dishes like char siu rice for dinner!
