Recently, I went to Sheung Wan for work and arranged lunch with a friend. This place specializes in nostalgic Chinese cuisine, combining Chinese dishes with a Western restaurant style. The environment is spacious, and there is also an outdoor seating option.
There is a $188 set lunch available.
Lunch Dim Sum Platter
The shrimp dumplings are plump with thin skins, filled with whole shrimp. The siu mai is generously filled and topped with crab roe, adding a richer texture. The dumplings dipped in chili oil are even more fragrant. The barbecue pork buns are soft, fluffy, and sweet.
Soup of the Day:
Stewed pork with snow pear, the snow pear has a sweet and refreshing taste, smooth to drink, clearly cooked to perfection.
Two types of mini steamed rice:
Steamed chicken with shiitake mushrooms – the chicken pieces are tender, and the chicken oil seeps into the rice, making it more flavorful. Steamed pork with preserved mustard greens – the pork patty is springy and chewy, paired with sweet preserved mustard greens, perfect with rice.
Finished with a cup of Chinese tea, very satisfying~
