Recently visited a super interesting special museum exhibition called "Xu Bing in Hong Kong: English Square Calligraphy"! 🥳
This unique exhibition cleverly blends Chinese characters with English, creating a revolutionary "English Square Characters." ✨
Not only is the art museum worth seeing, even the subway stations have been transformed into exhibition spaces, so you can enjoy art during your commute!
The highlight of this exhibition is:
The "Thinking East Thinking West – English Square Calligraphy Classroom" at the Hong Kong Museum of Art, offering a rich interactive experience!
There are iPads in the exhibition for you to create your own English square characters (see photo six).
Your masterpiece might even be displayed on the big screen in the exhibition hall!
The thoughtful setup includes lower tables for children to interact together,
making it perfect for family activities! 🧑🧑🧒🧒
Besides text creation, there is also an area where you can pick up a brush and write English square characters yourself! 🖋️
When we went on the weekend, the seats were not even full!
It’s super easy to experience calligraphy combined with English square characters~
Beyond the art museum, this exhibition extends to MTR stations!
You can encounter Xu Bing’s English square calligraphy works during your commute 🚉
