In Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong, there is a super dreamy hidden travel secret—the 88 Jellyfish Aquarium! This place is an excellent spot for taking photos and a paradise that girls must visit for check-ins!
Once you enter the pavilion, it feels like you've fallen into a colorful jellyfish kingdom! The pavilion showcases many local species of jellyfish, gently swaying in the water like dreamy little flowers. This aquarium covers over 10,000 square feet, with ample water volume, providing jellyfish with a spacious and comfortable living environment, allowing them to grow and reproduce freely as if in nature.
As one of the few specialized jellyfish conservation sites in Hong Kong, the 88 Jellyfish Aquarium shoulders the important mission of protecting the local marine ecosystem! The professional team inside works hard to research, breed, and protect jellyfish, and through various exhibitions and educational activities, they raise awareness about the importance of marine conservation, helping us better understand and care for these beautiful yet fragile creatures.
Ticket prices are HKD 196 for adults, HKD 168 for children, and free for babies under 1 year old. Take the MTR to Tsuen Wan Station or Tsuen Wan West Station, then walk about 10 minutes after exiting the station. It’s located on the 8th floor of Plaza 88, No. 88 Yeung Uk Road, Tsuen Wan.
Taking photos here is truly stunning, but remember! Never use flash photography as it can harm the delicate jellyfish! Stand in front of the jellyfish tanks, watch them drift in the light and shadows, and every shot looks like a masterpiece. It feels like time stops—so mesmerizing that it’s hard to leave!
