Introducing Phoenix Park

Phoenix Park, located in the northwest of Liyang City, gets its name from the two bluestone bridges known as Twin Bridges, also known as Phoenix Bridges, located nearby. A large relief sculpture stands in the park, vividly depicting the touching story of Shi Zhennu of Liyang who righteously rescued Wu Zixu and how Wu Zixu returned from his campaign against Chu with a gift of gold.

Liyang Phoenix Park boasts beautiful scenery, with its whitewashed walls and black tiles, flowing water, lush bamboo forests, and abundant flowers and trees. The park is divided into nine scenic areas: the Drinking Green Lake, the Forest of Steles, the Precious Bamboo Garden, the Landscape Garden, the Flower Garden, the Children's Playground, the Peony Garden, the Plum Garden, and the Yiyuan Pavilion.
