Hashtag B Hong Kong Egg Tart, Causeway Bay Branch

When visiting Hong Kong, you can't miss trying the famous Hong Kong egg tarts, which many popular shops offer. Hashtag B is one of the highly reviewed places that people say you must try when in Hong Kong. Hashtag B doesn’t just sell egg tarts; they also offer a variety of other baked goods. However, their egg tarts are the store’s most popular item, causing long lines at many branches. We bought ours at the Causeway Bay branch and didn’t have to wait in line, probably because it was still early in the morning. We chose to try the original and matcha flavors, which are larger than typical egg tarts. The crust is a flaky pie crust, crispy on the outside and soft inside, with a very smooth and fragrant filling. Personally, I loved it, but since the pieces are large, it’s best to share with friends. I highly recommend it! If you go to Hong Kong, be sure to try it—you won’t be disappointed. The shop has many branches, so you can line up at whichever is convenient, or go early in the morning when it’s much less crowded.
