Want to have a drink with colleagues after work🍸? You don’t have to go to a bar. This time I went to this cafe in Sheung Wan, ordered a bottle of white wine, a non-alcoholic drink, and several dishes.
The watermelon salad has cool and sweet watermelon🍉, smooth Greek🇬🇷 yogurt, fresh cucumber🥒 and mint, slightly salty and tangy Feta cheese🧀 with a rich milky flavor, and sunflower🌻 seeds that add more texture. This salad is very refreshing and perfect for summer.
I also ordered Grilled Halloumi with salad. Grilled Halloumi is a grilled cheese with a chewy texture and rich milky flavor. Halloumi is stored in brine to extend its shelf life, so it tastes salty, but when eaten with the sweet watermelon salad, it perfectly balances the saltiness.
The Turkish style soft-boiled egg toast is a traditional Turkish🇹🇷 breakfast, containing Greek yogurt, poached egg, spicy butter🧈, Feta cheese🧀, nuts🌰, cucumber🥒, and more. The poached egg yolk is runny. The Greek yogurt adds a bit of tanginess. The spicy butter makes the overall flavor more appetizing. It pairs perfectly with crispy sourdough bread.
