Dining at Louise in SoHo, Hong Kong

Nestled in the vibrant SoHo district, Louise is a one-MICHELIN-starred restaurant ⭐️ that is set in a beautifully restored heritage building. The restaurant features two distinct dining areas: the elegant Main Dining Room and the laid-back La Terrace. The interior, designed by acclaimed architect Andre Fu, combines elegance with comfort, making it perfect for both special occasions and casual gatherings.

However, my recent visit left me feeling disappointed and underwhelmed. I had high hopes for the grilled chicken, but it turned out to be overly oily and salty, which overshadowed the flavors I was eager to enjoy. The ambiance and service were lovely, but the meal itself did not live up to the hype surrounding this acclaimed establishment.

While Louise has a charming atmosphere and a well-curated menu, my experience suggests that it may not be worth the accolades it has received. If you’re considering a visit, you might want to manage your expectations regarding the food.
