PMQ in Central: The perfect place for a weekend getaway

Hollywood Road in Central is one of Hong Kong's most important historical conservation areas. Between two significant historical sites, Tai Kwun and Man Mo Temple, stands PMQ: the former Police Married Quarters, now a hub for entrepreneurial ventures, creativity, and culture.

Despite the sweltering weather, my return to PMQ was pleasantly refreshing thanks to the large fans installed in the vast plaza. The lower floors of the two towers were covered in signs and flags, fluttering in the strong wind, making them particularly eye-catching.

Afterwards, we enjoyed a sunny outdoor lunch at a teahouse on the first floor of PMQ Block B. It's so easy to steal an hour of leisure on a Saturday.
