Must-try authentic Korean food in Tsim Sha Tsui at OPPA Coffee Bar Restaurant

Korean cuisine is one of my favorite foods. Recently, I visited OPPA Coffee Bar Restaurant on Kimberley Road in Tsim Sha Tsui. The restaurant’s owner and head chef, Oppa, is from Busan. Many dishes are based on his mother’s recipes and hometown flavors, so I got to taste some Korean home-style cooking😍

Upon entering the restaurant, the design is stylish with concrete walls, playing K-Pop🎶, making you feel like you’re in Korea!

📋 Let’s check the menu first. There are many unique authentic Korean dishes, including Hong Kong’s first egg lava fried rice, authentic Korean fried chicken, Korean-style hot pots, as well as cheese egg rolls, Korean pancakes, gimbap, Korean soup ramen, stir-fried glass noodles, and more. Every dish looks tempting.

🍗 Sweet and Spicy Boneless Fried Chicken $208
I chose the boneless fried chicken. The Korean chicken is flavorful, tender, and juicy, not dry. It’s fried to a perfect crisp, crispy on the outside and soft inside. The sweet and spicy sauce on the outside has a mild sweet and spicy taste, making it super tender. The fried chicken here uses a unique technique that makes it non-greasy, fresh, juicy, and crispy. Paired with fries, it’s crispy and delicious, highly recommended!

🦑 Korean Chive Seafood Pancake (Large) $160
I love the Korean pancake here. Besides seafood ingredients, it also contains lots of vegetables, so it tastes refreshing and not greasy. The seafood is fresh and sweet, with squid and clams having a nice texture. The pancake is crispy and tasty, and dipping it in Korean sauce makes it even more flavorful.

🥤 Coke $26
On a hot day, I ordered two cans of Coke. It was ice-cold and very refreshing.

🥤 Grape Juice $25
The grapes have a unique aroma and flavor, with just the right sweetness and a bit of pulp. The texture is icy and very good.
