Introducing Yaoli
Yaoli Town is located in the eastern part of Fuliang County, bordering Xiuning County, Anhui Province. It covers an area of 181.2 square kilometers and has a population of 13,289. It administers the Yaoli Residential Committee and ten administrative villages: Baishita, Changming, Xinwuxia, Luoyuan, Siqian, Wuhua, Dongbu, Gaoling, Nanbo, and Chakeng. The town government is located in the Yaoli Residential Committee. The Jingdezhen-Yaoli Highway and the Yuyu Highway pass through the town. Scenic spots include the Yaoli Scenic Area, and memorials include the former residence of Chen Yi and the New Fourth Army Reorganization Monument. Yaoli boasts abundant tourism resources and is known as the "Source of Porcelain, Hometown of Tea, and Sea of Forests." On July 28, 2017, Yaoli Town was selected as one of the second batch of Chinese Characteristic Towns.
