Hong Kong cuisine has been visited four times, and the price of Hong Kong Omakase has become cheaper🫢

Finally tried Hikari after it moved to a new location. We were lucky to book a lunch counter seat early. The new restaurant has 10 counter seats and added a table seating area. If you want to choose a specific chef or seat, it is recommended to make a reservation (today the famous chef served 1 group of 6, so we have to book earlier next time to enjoy his skills).

As usual, we chose the 12-piece sushi set, but this time we found the set price is cheaper than before, only HK$420! The lunch menu also offers more choices, including tempura sets and sashimi rice bowls.

Every piece of sushi is very fresh, and the fish slices are thick and fatty. The set includes three types of tuna sushi (soy-marinated lean tuna, medium fatty tuna, and fatty tuna), each very smooth and melts in your mouth.

What impressed us the most were the amberjack and extra-large botan shrimp, each bite carrying a unique fresh fish flavor combined with natural sweetness. Personally, I always love the deep-sea pool fish; the chef lightly charcoal-grilled it for a few seconds, adding a rich smoky flavor!

The meal ended with coffee or roasted tea ice cream. The restaurant service is still excellent, and the dining experience was pleasant. Considering the freshness of ingredients, price, and craftsmanship, it is definitely a cost-effective choice.
