A nostalgic Western restaurant gradually disappearing in Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong

Suddenly craving steak, I chose this nostalgic Western restaurant. As soon as I entered, I was attracted by the environment; the lighting was soft, the atmosphere very comfortable, and even the background music was full of charm.

- Garlic bread
Two pieces per person, the crust is crispy, the inside soft, with plenty of butter, and a fragrant aroma.

- Cream soup
Surprisingly, it contained some beans—not the tri-color kind, but the long type cut into small pieces mixed in. The taste was a bit unusual.

- French foie gras with ribeye steak served with potatoes, vegetables, and mushroom sauce
I ordered medium rare; the beef flavor was rich, the doneness just right, the meat tender and juicy without being greasy. The foie gras was smooth and surprisingly paired well with the steak. The mushroom sauce enhanced the flavor, and the sauce itself was very tasty. The fries were freshly fried and served hot.

- Crispy chicken thigh with grilled scallop skewer served with angel hair pasta and hunter tomato sauce
The plating was very special XD. The chicken skin retained some tender texture, just to my liking. The scallops were large, fresh, sweet, and sand-free. The angel hair pasta absorbed the tomato sauce flavor, making it very satisfying. I thought the carbs would be filling, but as a girl, I finished it all—the portion was just right.

- Coffee crème brûlée cup
The coffee flavor was authentic and not overly sweet. The surface had some fruit and a crunchy texture, enriching the overall experience and perfectly ending that evening’s dinner.
