Rejuvenation, a Hidden Cafe in Lai Chi Kok｜A Journey of Revival for the Taste Buds and Soul

Today, I visited the hidden cafe "Rejuvenation" located on the ground floor of a newly rebuilt building in the old residential area of Lai Chi Kok. Just by looking at the signboard, it already feels poetic. This cafe is tucked away in a newly developed mixed residential and commercial area. Although the location is not very prominent, the unique atmosphere and delicious dishes gave me a "rejuvenating" experience for both my taste buds and soul 🌸.

The interior features a modern minimalist design, with light wooden furniture paired with white walls, creating a bright and fresh ambiance. The seating inside is limited, so it’s best to make a reservation in advance. Hand-drawn illustrations and simple decorative paintings hang on the walls, showing the owner’s attention to detail ❤️.

Sitting by the window, you can see the old buildings that have been acquired and are awaiting redevelopment, just like the cafe’s name, waiting for "rejuvenation."

I ordered the Nara chestnut steamed rice with pork belly roll set meal and a plate of light cheese ring hawthorn meat sauce spaghetti. The pork belly roll set includes an appetizer, grilled pork belly rolls, chestnut steamed rice, and dessert. The presentation was attractive, and every small dish was very delicate 🤩. The hawthorn meat sauce spaghetti was also very special, with a sweet and sour flavor from the hawthorn in the meat sauce, leaving no greasy aftertaste.

Although "Rejuvenation" is not in the most convenient location, the environment and food quality are excellent. I recommend saving this spot and trying it if you’re nearby.
