Today, I'm introducing a one-day itinerary that will allow you to fully enjoy Hong Kong in just one day. 😆
"I'm only in Hong Kong for a short visit, but I want to see all the must-see spots quickly!" This is the perfect itinerary for those who say, "I'm in Hong Kong for a quick stop, but I want to see all the must-see spots!"
Let's start the perfect Hong Kong one-day trip, departing straight from the airport and returning after enjoying the dazzling night view! 👏🏻
⸻
✈️ 12:00 Arrive at Hong Kong International Airport
✔ Begin your journey after clearing immigration
✔️ Take the Airport Express (AEL) → Approximately 40 minutes
👉 Tip: The AEL is the fastest and most comfortable way to get into the city! Topping up your Octopus Card in advance will make your trip even easier!
🏙️ 1:30 PM Yik Cheong Building (Monster Building)
📍 Location: Quarry Bay (Central Station → Taikoo → approximately 30-minute walk) (Right next to %Coffee!!)
⏰ Estimated Time: 30 minutes
📸 A famous Hong Kong photo spot! There's a unique atmosphere that can only be felt in a cramped apartment complex. I recommend snapping photos quickly (since it's a residential area, quiet viewing is essential 🫶🏻).
🚢 2:30 PM Tsim Sha Tsui & Avenue of Stars
✔️ Central Station → Star Ferry (approx. 10 minutes)
✔️ Avenue of Stars & Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront walk (approx. 30 minutes)
👉 The ferry across Victoria Harbour is an affordable and captivating way to see the Hong Kong cityscape.
🛍️ 3:15 PM Souvenir Shop & Market Tour
✔️ Tsim Sha Tsui → Bus No. 3 → Souvenir Shop (approx. 15 minutes)
✔️ Approx. 20-30 minutes of shopping & market tour
👉 The Tsim Sha Tsui area is lined with small souvenir shops and local markets. It's a great place to pick up Hong Kong-themed magnets, keychains, and t-shirts.
🚶🏻♀️4:40 PM Mid-Levels Escalator
✔ 15-minute walk from the ferry terminal
✔️ Travel time: approximately 20 minutes
👉 The world's longest outdoor escalator! Experience the scenery straight out of a Hong Kong movie as you walk.
🎨 5:00 PM Soho Mural Street
✔️ Near Mid-Levels
✔️ Admire the murals and take photos (approximately 20 minutes)
This street embodies Hong Kong's hip vibe. It's full of Instagram-worthy spots.
🥧 5:20 PM Egg Tart Tasting
A signature Hong Kong snack! The crispy pastry and sweet custard are a perfect combination. We recommend grabbing some to-go from a nearby bakery and enjoying it while strolling through Soho!
🌃 5:40 PM - 6:30 PM Victoria Peak & Night Viewing
✔️ Peak Tram Ride (Approximately 50 minutes to 1 hour, including wait times)
✔️ Victoria Peak Observation Deck
👉 The highlight of any Hong Kong trip! Climb up around sunset to experience the beauty of both day and night. At night, the city lights twinkle as the skyline unfolds. ✨
