Hong Kong offers a plethora of dining options, but this time, my friends and I visited "Monster Kitchen," and we were blown away by how packed it was! Every dish was full of surprises, and the staff were polite and charming. 😗 The portions were generous, and the flavors were impressive. Both the drinks and desserts were praiseworthy as well.
Monster Kitchen
Address: 7th Floor, Block H, Wing Hong Street, Kaming Factory Building, Lai Chi Kok, Hong Kong
Opening Hours: Weekdays 12:00–22:00, Weekends 11:30–22:30
Restaurant Environment:
Located in an industrial building, the space is spacious and private, making it perfect for large group gatherings without feeling cramped. The place is clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable lighting.
Highlight: There's an outdoor area, and the staff mentioned that dogs are welcome 🐶 (but it's best to double-check before visiting).
Signature Dishes Recommendations:
- Truffle Fries: Perfectly crispy with a strong truffle aroma, pairs excellently with beer.
- Spicy Seafood Pasta: Fresh seafood with a balanced level of spiciness that is appetizing without being overwhelming.
Price: Approximately $150-$250 per person.
The portions are large, making it ideal for sharing, and definitely worth the price.
Overall Rating:
- High-quality food with generous portions.
- Comfortable environment, especially suitable for group gatherings.
- Polite and charming staff, providing a warm and welcoming service.
- No wonder it's so popular; reservations or early visits are recommended to avoid waiting.
- Perfect for birthday parties and friend meetups.
Tips: Monster Kitchen is located upstairs in an industrial building, so keep an eye out for the sign at the entrance. Make reservations early to avoid long waits. For large groups, order a variety of platters to share and try everything without worrying about leftovers!
