Nan Lian Garden (สวนน่านเลียง), a garden located on Diamond Hill in Kowloon, Hong Kong, spans 23 rai (1,000 acres). The garden's design harks back to the Tang Dynasty. The garden features a mix of Chinese and Japanese styles, including bonsai trees, rockeries, a koi pond, a wooden building in the middle of a pond, a teahouse, and a souvenir shop.
Chi Lin Nunnery, also known as Chi Lin Nunnery, is a Mahayana nunnery built in 1934. Its distinctive features include its wooden buildings, and the main building, constructed in the traditional style, sanctuary without a single nail. The courtyard features a lotus pond, decorated with gold, wood, and terracotta.
Getting there: Take the MTR to Diamond Hill Station, Exit C2. You'll find Plaza Hollywood shopping mall. Continue along the path and cross the road at the traffic light to reach the entrance to Nan Lian Garden.
Opening Hours: Nan Lian Garden 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
Chi Lin Nunnery 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Open daily.
